Aldi launches pigs in blankets delivery service for one day only (2024)

Pigs in blankets are among the staple festive party foods and now select UK households can have the delicious meaty parcels delivered directly to their door.

Aldi has announced the launch of a dedicated pigs in blankets delivery service for one day only this week in a UK first.

A wide range of the popular snack, including a selection of vegan options, will be available to pre-order for home delivery for just £5 to selected households in London on Saturday, November 30.

The delivery service is limited to the E2 postcode region in London, with timeslots between 5pm and 9pm up for grabs. Shoppers can visit aldipigsinblanketsdelivery.co.uk to pre-book their slot now for £5, with all proceeds going to Neighbourly.

The service comes following a huge level of demand for Aldi’s Pigs in Blankets Restaurant, which launches for the second year in a row on November 29, on Bethnal Green Road in Shoreditch.

For those who aren’t able to visit the restaurant, the delivery service is the perfect compromise and offers seven different meat and vegan options to choose from. The menu includes:

Meat

• Specially Selected Ultimate Pigs in Blankets – the standout pig in blanket promises the ultimate tasting experience with every bite. Chunky pork sausages packed with flavour, wrapped in delicious smoked streaky bacon

• Specially Selected Truffle Chipolata Pigs in Blankets – a decadent take on a true classic, these truffle-flavoured chipolatas are wrapped in deliciously crispy streaky bacon

• Specially Selected Honey & Ginger Candy Cane Pigs in Blankets – a sweet blend of honey and ginger-flavoured sausages wrapped in streaky bacon, charmingly shaped as a festive candy cane

• Specially Selected Cheese in Blankets – a molten medley of cheddar, mozzarella, and cream cheese, lovingly wrapped in crispy, oak-smoked streaky bacon. Pure cheesy heaven!

• Ashfields Loaded Yorkshire Sliders – the king of combos: a perfectly cooked pig in blanket resting on a succulent pork stuffing ball and cradled between two crisp, airy Yorkshire puddings
