How do I make Baked Brie?

You need just 3 ingredients for this easy baked brie recipe:

  • Roasted Salted Almonds
  • Honey
  • 8 ounce round of Brie cheese
  • and optional herbs for added seasoning, if desired!

I like to use either these lightly salted almonds:

or these Honey Roasted almonds. They work equally well in this recipe, so justgo with whichever flavor you prefer!

First, place the brie on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees F. Keep an eye on it, because you want it soft, but you don’t want to forget about it and wind up with a melted pile of goo in your oven!

While the cheese cools for a few minutes, you can prepare the warm topping. Simply heat the honey and herbs in a small saucepan over low heat until warm. Stir in the chopped almonds, and then spoon the honey mixture over the warm baked brie. Garnish with additional herbs, if desired!

What goes with Baked Brie?

This baked brie recipe without pastry is perfect on top of a sliced baguette, but you can also serve it with crackers. If you’re like my grandmother, you ALWAYS have brie during the holidays, along with a glass of wine and some Table Water crackers!

Garnish the cheeseboard with Candied Pecans, some fresh fruit such as grapes or figs, and don’t forget the 3-Ingredient Cranberry Orange Sauce on the side. A dollop of cranberry sauce along with a slice of the warm Brie is basically heaven in your mouth!
