Warning! You’re going to fall for this co*cktail! Strawberry Gin Mojito is simple and refreshing. Muddled strawberries and mint are mixed with gin instead of rum in this mojito then topped with bubbly tonic water.
The Mojito, a Cuban co*cktail, has become immensely popular in the last few years. I’ll admit, it’s my favorite! It’s light and refreshing which makes it perfect for hot days and balmy nights.
It’s delicately flavored with strawberry and mint, cool gin, and sparkling tonic. This is a tasty co*cktail for day drinking with your friendsa ladies brunch or festive co*cktail hour!
I tested this mojito during the day, as seen on Instagram. My job is wonderful! Be sure to follow me on Instagram for behind-the-scenes posts pictures!

STRAWBERRY GIN MOJITO
Mint combined with rum is two of my favorite co*cktail combinations. They remind me of the beach. Plus, I love the beach too!
Last year, I shared a Traditional Mojito, Strawberry Mojito, Orange Mojito, and a Coconut Mojito! I went a little Mojito cray cray!
So.
I decided to change it up this time!
(Enter) Gin!
I know, scandalous! But, it’s oh so yummy!
This is how I make it. To a shaker, add 1/2 cup crushed ice, 3 to 4 strawberries, and 5 mint leaves. Muddle this to release the juice and flavors. Next, add gin, fresh lemon juice, usually, that’s about half a lemon, and simple syrup. Shake this all together and pour over ice in a tumbler. This mixture will not fill the glass, finish filling the glass with tonic water and stir to combine.
Do not add the tonic to the shaker and shake it…
ok, if you do, I want to hear about it…
Garnish with lemon, strawberry, or mint.
